Fabric manipulation techniques
For my production module, I designed an avant-garde hoodie jacket that integrates 12 manipulation techniques: tucking, pleating, ruffles, flounce, stuffing, smocking, gathering, quilting, darts, and cording. These techniques allowed me to experiment with texture and structure, transforming the jacket into a dynamic piece of wearable art. Each manipulation added a unique layer of depth and visual interest, making the garment not just a piece of clothing, but a creative expression of fashion.
